Ecocardiography
ECG (electrocardiography)
ECG cardiac evaluation is baseline, non-invasive, painless, safe and more informative. Special equipment, electrocardiography, is recorded on a special tape of the electric activity of the heart.
Electrocardiography -the simplest but one of the most important diagnostic exams- is the method of recording the
total transmembrane potentials of the myocardium. It detects important disorders such as arrhythmia (atrial fibrillation, extrasystole, paroxysmal tachycardia), conduction disorders (SA, AV-blockades, blockade of the right and left leg,
bundle of His, WPW syndrome, Frederick’s Syndrome). It is informative for the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease (IS) (angina, heart attack), etc. as well.
